Vision
To develop human resources of high caliber with moral ethics and employability potentials and to produce technically competent, socially committed technocrats

Mission
To inculcate value based, socially committed professionalism to the cause of overall developments of students and society that leads to employment and entrepreneurship.

Programmed Educational Objectives
1) Physical Resource : The department will procure latest hardware and software products to upgrade the facilities in laboratories for meeting the following goals:
   a. Students can take curricular and co-curricular activities.
   b. Undertake R&D consultancy projects by the department.
   c. Undertake higher or advance research work relevant to the profession by joint team.
2) Higher Studies and Research :
   a. To provide students with a sound foundation in the mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals necessary to formulate, solve and analyze real world problems and prepare them for graduate studies.
   b. To provide value addition programs to develop abilities for seeking admissions in PG and PhD programs in Indian as well as in foreign universities.
3) Employability Skills :
   a. The department will ensure that the faculty members and other employees demonstrate professional behaviour as role models of the students.
   b. The department will ensure to integrate development of technological and communication skills together.
   c. The department will ensure that faculty and students to use innovative methods of self learning and facilitating learning to inculcate and nurture lifelong learning skills.
4) Personality Development :
   a. The department will ensure that the faculty, staff and students demonstrate the behavior related to time management, self discipline and positive attitude, integrity and so on.
   b. The department will organize departmental seminars on themes such as innovation in technology and innovation in delivery and assessing the technical content.
   c. The department will ensure to adopt self development group approach for developing the personalities and competence of both faculty members and students.
5) Social Responsibility :
   a. To create awareness among students to do good for society and environment.
   b. The department is trying to organizing socializing activities such as inter-departmental seminars, having official picnic, annual function for faculties.
   c. Organizing engineering model exhibition under the guidance of faculty.
   d. Interactive sessions with experts from different fields.
6) Career Preference :
The Department will also undertake the following activities like:
   a. Involve students in designing and maintaining web based applications.
   b. Involve students in building application software.
   c. Involve students in building mobile application like Andriod applications.
   d. Motivating students for pursuing higher education.


Programme Outcome
1) Ability to identify a problem definition, analyze it and define the computing requirements appropriate to its solution.
2) Ability to inculcate programming skills and use analytic and empirical methods to design and evaluate technical problems and their solutions.
3) Ability to document and maintain Software Requirement Specification.
4) Ability to work independently as well as in team in multidisciplinary projects.
5) Exhibit professional and ethical behaviour.
6) Ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economical, environmental, social, political, safety, manufacturability, and sustainability.
7) To acquire effective communication skills such as:

    c. Interpret and Prepare Visual Cues
8) Demonstrate the impact of software engineering solutions in global, economical, environmental and social contexts.
