Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

  1. Academic Competence: Students will have a strong base in mathematics, algorithmic principles, and engineering fundamentals of computer science, both theoretical and experimental. This will equip the students with the adequate skills and expertises required in pursuing their higher studies or enhance their career.
  2. Application Ability: Students will learn how to analyze, design and create solutions for different technical problems that is accustomed to modeling and implementation of computer systems.
  3. Multi-disciplinary Proficiency: Students will acquire skills to work as a team in order to solve problems that are multi-disciplinary in nature, and are related to more than one domain.
  4. Research Skill: A lot of effort is given on research-related works. The aim is to improve their creativity skills.
  5. Professionalism: Responsibility, dedication and commitment towards their work and completing the tasks in a timely manner with the highest quality possible are the key features of a professional. They should have the urge to continuously refine their skills through life-long learning. They should have the ability to work as a member of a professional team as well as be able to assume leadership role whenever necessary.
  6. Responsible Global Citizen: Instill ethical as well as good qualities like self discipline, time management, ingenuity, and optimistic thinking so that they assume all the responsibilities of a true global citizen.

Programme Outcomes (POs)

  1. To train students with ability to identify a problem, analyze it and define the computing requirements appropriate to its solution.
  2. To train students to apply analytic and empirical techniques to evaluate technical problems and their solutions
  3. To inculcate the knowledge of mathematics foundation, algorithmic principles, programming aptitude and modeling and designing of computer systems.
  4. To bestow with the ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economical, environmental, social, political, ethical, safety, manufacturability, and sustainability.
  5. To acquaint with the knowledge of modern skills, techniques, and tools during professional practice.
  6. To prepare the students to work independently and as a team for multidisciplinary projects.
  7. To prepare students for successful careers in industry, academia, government services or as entrepreneurs.
  8. To enhance the creativity and innovative skills of the students through research related works which are required to solve the contemporary issues related to the evolving discipline of computer science.
  9. To encourage the essence of honing their technical skills regularly in order to ensure technical competency and professional growth.
  10. To prepare the students to communicate in a clear and concise manner using written and oral communications.
  11. To foster ethical, social and professional responsibilities among students.
  12. To inculcate the merits of self discipline, time management, ingenuity, and optimistic thinking.
