    Project Description: Designing and developing new voltammetric sensors by modifying bare electrode surface with electroactive compounds and nanoparticles (viz CNT, AgNP etc) for detection of Dopamine, Uric Acid, Ascorbic Acid, Serotonin and Cholesterol in solution and as well as in real blood/urine sample. We are trying to develop cheap, reliable and highly selective/sensitive biosensors.

    • Expert in handling instruments like Electrochemical Analyzer, Infra-Red spectrophotometer, UV-Vis NIR spectrophotometer, Fluorescence spectrophotometer etc.
    • Basic idea of handling instruments like HPLC, Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, Surface Area Analyzer, Thermal Analyzer, GC, GCMS, 300 MHz1H NMR spectrometer etc.

    • Presently worked as Assistant Professor in Chemistry at GIMT-Guwahati, Assam, India (since 2nd August, 2011 to present)
